Pocono Auto Start

    For those who are unsure, imagine this. You wake in the morning to find that overnight, mother nature has dropped 7 inches of the cold powder that we are all much to familiar with here in the Pocono's. Underneath that 7 inches of snow is a 1/2 inch layer of solid ice. And somewhere under that layer of ice is your car. Whoops! You just remembered your ice scraper is IN your car and the doors are frozen shut. You can forget about getting that key in the door through that ice. Oh, did I mention that the temperature is hovering around 16?

  Now what are you going to do? Just relax. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, turn on the morning news and press the button on the little transmitter attached to your keychain. Outside you car is now running by remote start. Your car's heat and windshield defroster is activated to melt that icy windshield and warm up that chilly interior. Depending on how your car is equipped, the rear window defroster and heated seats are functioning, anticipating your arrival.

  Now that you finished breakfast, put on your boots, grab your briefcase, and go directly from your warm home into your warm car. Don't worry about the key getting through the icy keyhole. You just push the button on that little transmitter and your doors unlock. Dont fuss with that ice scraper either. Just turn on your wipers and in a few strokes the windshield is clear. Now just drive off to work knowing you will be there promptly because you didn't waste any time sweeping and scraping.

 Now, the above is a worse case scenario, but far from exaggerated. We have all been there. It is silly to put up with this inconvenience. Even without all the snow and ice, It is simply no fun sitting in a car in the dead of winter vigorously rubbing your hands together, shaking uncontrollably as your breath freezes on the inside glass, waiting for the car to warm up. Not to mention doing this routine twice a day every day for 5 straight months!
